In accordance with the rights recognized by European Regulation No. 679/2016 (also known as the “GDPR”), SanMarco Srl, based in Milan, via Deruta No. 20, as the Data Controller, provides you with the following information regarding the processing of your personal data via the website.
1) DATA COLLECTION
Personal data is collected through the Website, in the "participate in Mammavventura" section.
Personal data may also be provided by candidates at specific collection centers set up by SanMarco
during events or exhibitions, through the completion of the paper form.
2) PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASES OF THE PROCESSING
The processing covered by this notice is primarily aimed at the preliminary evaluation of the
requirements for participation in the "Mammavventura" selection process, organized by the Data
Controller from time to time. Candidates' data, including email addresses, will be entered into a
special database of the Data Controller and used for communications related to "Mammavventura"
events and promotional initiatives organized by the Data Controller and/or its partners and/or
clients, without prejudice to the possibility of objecting at any time, in whole or in part, to such
processing, pursuant to Article 7, paragraph 4, letter b) and Article 130, paragraph 4 of the Privacy
Code, as indicated in the following point 6).
The legal bases for processing are therefore:
- the performance of pre-contractual negotiations
- the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in promoting initiatives related to the world of
Mammavventura among the public of candidates who have expressed interest in the project.
3) NATURE OF THE PROCESSED DATA
The processing covered by this notice only concerns common data.
4) PROCESSING METHODS
Processing operations will be carried out in compliance with the principles of relevance, lawfulness,
fairness, and purpose. Data collection and processing will be carried out both in paper format and
with the aid of IT and telematic tools: data collected through the completion of the form, whether
electronic or paper, will be entered into the Data Controller's electronic archives. The collected data
will be retained for the time necessary for the purposes mentioned above.
Providing the data is optional. However, failure to provide data will make it impossible for the Data
Controller to proceed with the necessary preliminary evaluation for participation in the
MAMMAVVENTURA initiatives. Processing will be carried out directly by the Data Controller’s
organization, with the assistance of its Appointed and/or Internal Managers, as well as external
parties who, due to their role, have been appointed as Data Processors: the related list is available at
the Data Controller's offices.
The Data Controller specifies that the transmission of data via the Internet cannot guarantee
absolute security levels. SanMarco cannot be held responsible for anything beyond the accurate and
correct application of the security standards imposed by current regulations, particularly the security
measures referred to in Article 32.
5) DISCLOSURE AND DISTRIBUTION
The personal data subject to this processing will not be communicated, disclosed, or transferred
abroad. The Data Controller does not carry out profiling of candidates' data.
6) RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
The Regulation recognizes the following rights to the data subject, i.e., the person to whom the
processed data relates. The data subject may obtain from the Data Controller the confirmation of
whether or not their personal data exists, be informed about the origin of such data, and know the
details of the processing; they may also request the deletion, as well as the updating, correction, or
integration of their data. Additionally, they have the right to object to the processing and obtain data
portability, where the legal requirements are met.
Requests must be sent by registered mail to the company’s legal office or by email: privacy@mammavventura.com
The data subject also has the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Italian Data
Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it), based in Rome, in the manner provided for by the
regulation if they believe their rights have been infringed.
